Quoting the Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, the FRSC spokesperson said the new development was in compliance with presidential directives. He said all applicants for vehicle registration must provide NIN as a precondition for the registration of their vehicles, adding that there would be no waiver for anyone regardless of their status in the society. Kazeem noted that the move is to resolve the challenges of identifying individuals to assist security agencies in data collation. He called on members of the public who have not enrolled in the ongoing NIN registration at the National Identity Management Commission to do so.
